With some designers you may wear a size 16 and others a size 14. It all depends on whether the clothes run small, large or average.

You might also want to check out some designer boutiques in your local area if you have them or even secondhand stores if buying used is not a problem for you. You might get lucky and find a great fashion item that fits you perfectly for sale at a price you can afford. The most important thing when buying clothes is that you feel confident, comfortable and attractive in what you're wearing.
